Tucked away in a quiet courtyard in Montorgueil, close to the Marais, this home is a peaceful hideaway in the city. It’s on a semi-pedestrian street just 50 metres from Sentier metro, surrounded by shops and bars. The apartment is bright and attractive, a converted loft on the third floor of the building – you’ll need to be ready to tackle quite a few stairs. The bedroom is on an open mezzanine level, with two guests on a sofa bed in the living room below, so it’s not the most private setup. But for a location like this, that’s easily forgiven.
